Information about me

Life started for me in a hospital in South Manchester called Wythenshaw hospital. Once I was checked out and my mum had been given enough rest, after carrying me around for ten extra days than expected during the summer of the hottest year in the 20th century, I was taken back to Timperley. This is where I stayed during the schooling, through the Willows Primary and, after passing the 11+, Altrincham Grammar School for Boys . Here a collected a bucket of GCSE's and a fistful of A-levels.

Next is was to University so the northern lad decided to give the south a try and headed off to the University of Surrey in Guildford. I spent four years there (with a year having it in Stevenage, during my time out @ Glaxo Wellcome).

Now with a degree in Computer-Aided Chemistry pinned to my jacket I was ready for the real world. Well after a month messing around in France with Elle and some World Cup action.

Decided to go back home to help pay off some of those acquired debts. So I worked in Macclesfield at a place called Pixel Fountain . After 12 months the capital of the country started to call me and Bluewave were kind enough to employ me.

I relocated to Earlsfield and later Tooting in South London and worked for Bluewave for a total of three years. Next I moved to a company called tmg working in the same Coldfusion field but now working on client sites instead of intranet work.

Five years on at this company, I have become the 'Head of Technical Architecture & Development' and have finally put my foot on the property ladder by purchasing a house in the rather lovely town of Richmond.

Clearly Surrey keeps calling me back, but so too does Manchester & indeed Manchester United. In general I travel back up to Manchester every month to see Manchester United play. After having a season ticket, I have down graded to normal membership as the new house and the constant list of 'stuff to do' on it have reduced my free weekends to see United play. Thank goodness for Sky and the various far away land feeds of 3pm football (though it's rare that we actually play at that time).
